This is the Indianapolis pressing of the original US release as indicatedby a capital "I" stamped in runout on both sides (note: stampings may be faint)
Recorded at Hansa by the Wall, Berlin. Mixed at Mountain Studios, Montreux.
Lyrics are printed on the inner sleeve.
Initial copies included an insert for the Bowie Fan Club offer.
STERLING, I, A1, A2, and B3 stamped in runouts, the rest etched.
Similar to [r774430] but black label is different; far smaller pressing ring on this release.
This edition and its match ([r774430]) from the other operable US pressing plant (1977) are the first editions of the album. This edition and the 1st UK editions show that the UK editions ([r1326123] , [r1326123], [r8996691] , [r5154762]) contain a rescan of the lyric sheet, reproducing it at a lower quality.
