Sides 1 and 2 originally released as "Workin' With The Miles Davis Quintet" (Prestige 7166); Sides 3 and 4 as "Steamin' With The Miles Davis Quintet" (Prestige P-7200).Recorded at Van Gelder Studios, Hackensack, NJ, May 11, 1956, except tracks B3 and D2 recorded October 26, 1956.
Remastered 1974 at Fantasy Studios - Berkeley, CA.
Released 1981 according to legal deposit at Bibliothèque Nationale de France, as stated on BNF site.
