This is the soundtrack album to the film of the same name, although not all tracks from the film are on the album. Not all the tracks on the album were featured in the final released version of the film either!Production credits: Tracks A1, C5, D2, D4 to D6 "A Matrixbest Production". Track C3: Dave Goodman's full name used. Track C4: Steve Jones credited as S. Jones.
Track D3 also has vocals from "kids auditioning at Duchess Theatre June 1978".
All tracks recorded 1978 except: A2, A3, A5 to B3, C3 all recorded 1976.
The track listing on the sleeve is incorrect. This release came with a paper insert containing the correct tracklisting. The labels also contain the correct tracklisting and a message stating "Sorry about incorrect track listing on sleeve - It's another swindle!"
The timing of 6 minutes 20 is the total time for tracks A2 and A3.
